Level 4 pathways

Building your AI change-drivers - choose the pathway that fits your workforce

Level 4 · AI & Automation Practitioner · ST1512 · Government funding available

Your organisation is adopting AI. But without the right people to lead it, that investment won't stick.

The L4 AI & Automation Practitioner apprenticeship develops the practitioners who design, implement and govern AI-driven change in your organisation. Three contextualised pathways are available - each covering the same ST1512 standard, with content and projects grounded in the learner's actual role and function.

AI adoption is happening but there's no strategy or structure to guide it
Staff are using AI tools without governance or oversight
Processes are inefficient and ripe for automation - but no one owns the change

What L4 delivers

Transformation at every level of the organisation

Evidenced ROI

Hours saved, error reduction and quality improvement tracked and documented throughout - not estimated after the fact.

Government funded

All three L4 pathways are eligible for government funding - through the Apprenticeship Levy or co-investment. Speak to Zenith for details.

Real project work

Every learner completes a live transformation project inside their own organisation. The EPA is built from actual work - not hypothetical scenarios.

Governance built in

Ethics, data privacy, bias and responsible deployment are woven through every module - not bolted on at the end.

Role-relevant content

Choose the pathway that fits your learner's role - standard, HR or leadership - and every module, project and assessment reflects their actual day-to-day.

Lasting capability

AI adoption becomes an internal habit - not a one-off initiative - owned and driven by practitioners inside your own organisation.

Level 3 pathway

Building AI confidence across your wider workforce

Together

The L3 and L4 pathways are designed to complement each other. L3 staff surface AI opportunities from the frontline - L4 practitioners design, build and deploy the solutions.
