Questions People Ask Us Before They Reach Out
I'm struggling with my workload and feel overwhelmed. Can I talk to someone about this?
Yes, absolutely. Feeling overwhelmed is common, especially when balancing work and study. We’re here to listen and help you break things down into manageable steps or find extra support.
I feel like I'm falling behind or not as good as others. What should I do?
You’re not alone. Many apprentices feel this way at times. We can help you talk through those feelings and look at ways to build confidence and get back on track.
I'm worried about my progress or failing my course. Can you help?
Yes. We can help you explore your options, talk through concerns, and connect you with the right people, like tutors or support services.
I'm struggling at my placement or workplace. Can I speak to someone?
Yes. Whether it’s stress, relationships, or feeling uncomfortable, you can talk to us. We’ll listen and help you figure out what support is available.
What if I have an issue with my employer or manager?
You can come to us first. We can help you think through the situation and guide you on appropriate next steps or who to speak to.
Will my tutor or employer find out if I speak to you?
We respect your privacy. We’ll only share information if it’s necessary for your safety or wellbeing, and we’ll always try to talk this through with you first.
I'm dealing with personal issues outside of work or study. Can I still get support?
Yes. Your wellbeing matters as a whole. You don’t have to keep those things separate, we’re here to listen and guide you to the right help.
