We are currently working with our client who are a North-East Manufacturer recruiting for an experienced Assembly Production Operative on a temporary basis initially with the possibility of becoming permanent. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy production team, supporting the assembly and manufacture of high-quality products while working to production schedules and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Assemble products and components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions. (must have experience with Mechanical Assembly)
· Accurately interpret technical drawings, specifications and manufacturing documentation.
· Carry out quality checks and work closely with the quality department to ensure standards are met.
· Identify and report defects, rework requirements and health & safety concerns.
· Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
· Support continuous improvement activities within the production team.
· Communicate effectively with team leaders and colleagues to ensure manufacturing objectives are achieved.
· Complete all required training and follow company procedures at all times.
Essential Requirements
· Previous experience in a manufacturing, production & Mechanical Assembly environment.
· Able to use a standard tape measure
· Familiar with Impact Drivers in Manufacturing
· Good mechanical assembly skills and experience using hand tools.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Reliable, motivated and safety-conscious approach to work.
Desirable
· Manufacturing or engineering qualifications/apprenticeship.
