I’m Dave, an AI Trainer at We Are Zenith. My role involves delivering Level 3 and 4 AI and Automation Practitioner apprenticeships to learners across the North East, helping them build practical, job-ready skills in artificial intelligence and automation. Coming from a background in performance marketing, digital strategy, and hands-on AI application, I bring real-world experience into every session rather than just theory.

The main part of my role is delivering structured training sessions, setting practical tasks, and assessing apprentice progress to make sure they’re building genuine capability, right through to their EPA. I’m a Google Digital Garage certified trainer and PGCE-qualified, so I focus on making complex AI and automation concepts accessible and applicable to real workplace problems. Beyond the formal training, I offer ongoing support and guidance, helping apprentices grow in confidence and develop the skills to apply AI tools effectively in their careers. Watching learners go from uncertain about AI to confidently using it in their day-to-day work is what makes the role worthwhile.
