Job Description:
Are you ready to take your industry expertise and turn it into a rewarding career in training and development? We’re looking for passionate professionals from any vocational sector who want to inspire the next generation of apprentices and adult learners. You don’t need teaching qualifications — we’ll support you to gain them. What matters most is your commitment to helping others succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with apprentice’s one-to-one and in small groups to support their progress and confidence
- Deliver engaging and supportive training sessions, using your industry knowledge to bring learning to life and contextualise skills for the workplace
- Collaborate with employers to ensure training meets sector needs and adds value to their workforce
- Monitor learner progress and provide feedback to help them stay on track, reporting any concerns to pastoral colleagues
- Support learners with advice and guidance to help them achieve and progress
- Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, British Values, and inclusive learning practices
- Participate in internal quality processes and contribute to continuous improvement
- Work closely with the Quality and Compliance Team to ensure paperwork associated with programmes is completed to a high standard within required timescales
- Provide a high level of customer service to all apprentices and parties contacting the business
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience in your vocational sector (e.g., production/manufacturing, digital, business support, etc.)
- A genuine interest in supporting others and making a difference
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Able to motivate others
- Willingness to travel across the North East and work flexibly
- IT skills and confidence using digital platforms
- Commitment to completing a teaching qualification (fully supported by us)
