Zenith People are working with our client who are a Manufacturer looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Biased Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis.
Working as part of a maintenance team you will ensure safe and efficient equipment performance is delivered within the safety, quality, cost, people and environment framework. Technical response to breakdowns of all facilities and their controls to deliver minimal downtime using safe working practices.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- Completion of planned maintenance activities (Multi Skilled).
- Liaising with Plant engineering on projects and improvements.
- Supporting manufacturing with changes.
- Ensuring CMMS system is up to date.
- Create PM plan & executing PMs in line with plan.
- Support equipment failure analysis.
- Reduce downtime through targeted activities.
- Effective reporting including 3Cs & Data Collection.
- Stores Management including ordering.
- Updating maintenance systems.
- Data recording.
- Work on waste within maintenance and continuously seek efficiencies in all areas.
- Raise issues to minimise cost and quality impact.
EDUCATION
Minimum HNC in engineering discipline (Electrical ideally) or completion of recognised Apprenticeship.
- Ideally hold experience within a similar role, gained in a fast moving, automotive manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical & electrical maintenance.
- PLC skills.
- MCS – Manufacturing Control Systems.
- Injection Mould experience.
- High standards of workmanship.
- Communicates effectively within the dept and within the wider team.
- In depth understanding of maintenance safe systems of work including lock out, tag out etc.
SALARY £36,000 – £39,000 Per annum BASIC Depending upon experience plus a 12% Shift Allowance for 2 Shifts (earlies & lates)
Shifts 6am – 2:20pm Monday to Friday and 15:35 to 11pm
