Key learning areas
Apprentices will develop professional coaching capability across coaching practice, psychology, and ethical business delivery. The programme focuses on applying evidence-based coaching models to structure effective sessions, facilitate insight, and support meaningful behaviour change. Apprentices will also explore the psychology underpinning motivation, learning, and development, while building strong ethical, reflective, and professional practice. These learning areas equip apprentices to deliver high-quality coaching interventions and operate confidently within organisational or independent coaching environments.
Coaching Models & Practice
Master evidence-based coaching approaches (GROW, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioural), learn to structure sessions, set contracts, and facilitate meaningful conversations that create insight and action.
Psychology & Behaviour Change
Understand motivation theories, neuroscience of learning, emotional intelligence, psychological models, and how to support clients through change and development.
Ethics, Professionalism & Business Skills
Learn professional boundaries, coaching ethics, supervision practice, reflective practice, and how to establish and manage a coaching practice or service.
Assessment
End-point assessment including observed coaching sessions, case study submissions, professional discussion, and demonstration of coaching competencies and ethical practice.
