Rowen Homes believe that investing in their people is key to creating a thriving workplace. Sarah Moore, the Head of People & Compliance, exemplifies this through her commitment to professional development and supporting her colleagues.
Since joining Rowen Homes, Sarah has overseen employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance across multiple sites. In 2020, she took on the Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship with us to deepen her skills in management coaching.
Feedback
”I’ve always been interested in coaching, and when Zenith approached me with this opportunity, I jumped at the chance,” Sarah recalls.
Through the apprenticeship, Sarah strengthened key skills including active listening, reflective practice, self-awareness, and bias management, enabling her to support colleagues more effectively while balancing her HR responsibilities. She has particularly enjoyed helping team members achieve their own “penny drop” moments — instances of insight and personal growth.
Sarah also credits the tailored support from her Zenith mentor, Liz Stevens, for making the program practical and relevant:
A typical day for Sarah involves leading HR operations, employee engagement initiatives, and compliance across multiple sites — no two days are the same. What she enjoys most is the variety of her role and the impact she can make through coaching and mentoring her team.
Sarah’s journey demonstrates the value of apprenticeships in developing soft skills, leadership presence, and professional confidence. At Zenith Training, we are proud to help ambitious professionals like Sarah translate learning into tangible impact within their organisations
